Meet Kate
“I’m the fifth generation, so it’s nice to be carrying on something that my family has been doing for such a long time.”
LOCATION | Birregurra, VIC |
FARM TYPE | Sheep, Pasture |
Kate Patterson’s family has been farming in central Victoria since the 1860s.
During this time, they have seen their fair share of ups and downs, but one thing never changes, the more you put into farming, the more you get out of it.
The same can be said for the sandy loam on their 4,000 acre property.
Kate and her father, Donald, have no doubt that caring for the soil on their farm has been one of the keys to them sustaining their farming operation for so long.
Over the years, Incitec Pivot has been there during times of need, always helping to provide solutions to problems as they arise. Kate is very excited about the potential of their property and is passionate about realising it.
