Incitec Pivot Fertilisers has been recognised as CRT Supplier of the Year for 2017 in the fertiliser and seed category, winning the top honours among a host of suppliers.

The award was announced at a gala dinner before hundreds of CRT members and supplier representatives at the CRT conference in Perth during February.

Incitec Pivot Fertilisers general manager – northern, Justin Turvey, accepted the award from Ruralco’s national fertiliser procurement team, Ryan Berndt and Sam Hunt, in what he described as a humbling experience.

“Never before has Incitec Pivot Fertilisers been nominated for this award, so it reflects the efforts of everyone across our business and our company-wide approach to meeting our customers’ needs,” he said.

“While I head up the CRT business at Incitec Pivot Fertilisers under the leadership of Trent Cosh, this award recognises the inputs of our people in sales, marketing, customer service, agronomy, laboratory services, supply and demand planning, distribution and so many others.”

In another first for the business, Mr Turvey said Incitec Pivot Fertilisers was named among CRT’s top 10 national suppliers for product innovation, logistics and distribution, in a field of more than 650 suppliers.

The honours capped off a successful weekend for the Incitec Pivot Fertilisers team who made the most of every opportunity to meet and mingle with CRT members from across the country and learn more about their businesses.

Led by Trent Cosh, vice-president northern region, and Gerard Buckle, vice-president southern region, the team included Justin Turvey, Rhiannon Modica, general manager southern sales, Ben Martin, marketing services manager, and regional business managers from South Australia and Queensland, Ian Laube, Rob Alexander, Chris Farlow and Noel Matthews.
