In October 2022, Incitec Pivot Fertilisers Acquired the EASY Liquids business from Yara Fertilisers.
The business complements IPF’s liquid fertiliser business, which is currently focused on urea-ammonium nitrate (EASY N). The acquisition will enable IPF to better serve customers through a strengthened storage and distribution network and improve security of supply of a diverse range of liquid products for dealers, agents, and agronomists to service the grower community.
Soil health is of increasing importance for farmers – liquid fertilisers play an important role in the ability to apply a variable rate and specifically address plant nutrition needs.
IPF plans to continue investment in the existing EASY Liquids operations, supporting local manufacturing of liquid fertilisers throughout regional Australia.
The acquisition will see 25 fulltime EASY Liquids staff transition to the IPF team. They will be located predominantly across existing production sites at Moree and Whitton in New South Wales, and Boundary Bend in Victoria.
