Strengthening regional capability in Mackay’s sugarcane industry

Jun 19, 2025

Incitec Pivot Fertilisers recently welcomed customers and stakeholders to the Mackay Primary Distribution Centre (PDC) to celebrate a major milestone: the completion of environmental, safety and infrastructure upgrades, and the official launch of our new eNpower® pink bags.

Over the past three years, IPF has invested more than $9 million into the Mackay site to ensure greater reliability, improved service, and dependable access to enhanced efficiency fertilisers (EEFs), like eNpower® a smarter nitrogen solution designed to support productivity in sugarcane systems.

The recent open day recognised the contributions of our local team and reaffirmed our long-term commitment to the region’s growers. These upgrades form part of IPF’s broader strategy; backing our people, building regional resilience, and helping farmers achieve more with smart, sustainable solutions.
