Matt Cleave and his family farm in Lancefield in central Victoria. A third-generation farmer, Matt has a passion for all things agriculture.
The biggest hurdles they encounter are the variability in weather and the acidic soil.
They regularly use granular products to push plant growth in order to achieve the productivity gains required to improve their bottom line.
Matt’s determination to pass the farm on to the next generation in better shape drives his focus on caring for the soil.
He’s a believer that if you show the soil some TLC, it will look after you for years to come.
