Submitting Fertiliser Samples
Sample guidelines – solid fertilisers:
- Sample size: 1 kg (unless otherwise specified); for bulk density testing, 4–5 kg
- Containers: Clean, sealable, moisture-resistant containers; avoid lightweight takeaway-style containers
- Sampling: Use D-tubes, PVC tubes, sampling buckets, screens, or riffle splitters
- Labelling: Clearly indicate product type, sample ID, and sample date
Chain of custody
A completed chain of custody form must accompany each fertiliser submission.

Sample delivery instructions
Australia Post deliveries cannot be accepted at the laboratory street address. Samples sent by post must be addressed to the PO Box below
